Who is TMS Suitable for?

TMS is suitable for people who suffer from treatment resistant depression and have had several failed attempts of treatment using antidepressant medications. 

The treatment is also suitable for patients seeking an alternative to electric shock therapy, as it does not carry the risk of cognitive impairment or memory loss.

Not suitable for

TMS is not suitable for people who are pregnant, have an intracranial implants and devices, or have epilepsy, a history of seizures, or any condition that may lower their seizure threshold (such as significant past head injury or current alcohol withdrawal).
