TMS Treatment

What does it feel like?

TMS treatment induces a rapid tapping sensation that is felt on the scalp that lasts for 4 seconds, followed by an 11 second gap.

4 seconds -
11 second gap

It can cause the facial muscles to twitch, particularly in the left eyebrow. The sensation is variable and depends on stimulus dose and scalp sensitivity.

Some people may find it uncomfortable at first, though this usually decreases within 2-4 sessions and can be alleviated with Panadol. We start treatment on a low setting until you are comfortable with the sensation and increase the stimulation level slowly.
